Construction Marketing and Business Development Assistant

Overview

As our Marketing and Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our business through effective proposal management, RFP/RFQ responses, and business development efforts. You will collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and architects to coordinate technical content for proposals and qualifications. In addition, you will help create engaging marketing materials, manage social media channels, and assist in planning industry outreach events.

To thrive in this role, you must be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Experience in business development, proposal writing, and marketing within the construction industry is a plus.

What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Support business development efforts by assisting with the creation and submission of RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and architects to gather and refine technical content for proposals, ensuring the accuracy and quality of all submissions.
  • Research potential business opportunities, clients, and projects to support company growth initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials that highlight company capabilities, completed projects, and core services for use in proposals and business outreach.
  • Design graphics, write content, and schedule posts to showcase current projects and company news on social media and the company website.
  • Manage the proposal calendar and coordinate internal resources to meet deadlines for RFPs, RFQs, and other business development documents.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute industry outreach events that help promote the company and attract new business.

Experience:

  • Marketing and Business Development: 1 year (Required)
  • Proposal Management or RFP/RFQ Response Experience: Preferred

Pay: $45,000-$60,000/year
