About the Role
We’re looking to add a Metal Building Systems (MBS) Estimator to our team in Firestone, CO! In this role, you’ll be responsible for estimating Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) projects from start to finish, working under the guidance of our Senior Estimator. You will collaborate with general contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors to produce accurate, competitive bids that help us win and deliver high-quality projects.
What You’ll Do
● Review bid invitations, drawings, and specs to understand project scope, schedule, and requirements
● Prepare detailed estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs
● Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing and evaluate proposals
● Collaborate with architects, suppliers, and clients to ensure materials and designs align with project goals
● Submit clear, competitive bids and support pricing negotiations as needed
● Track bid performance and support continuous improvement in estimating processes

Qualifications
Education
● Required: A high school diploma or equivalent
● Preferred: Associate degree in Construction Management, Math, or similar — or equivalent work experience
Work Experience
● Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience as a construction estimator or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
● Preferred: Minimum (5) years of experience as an estimator of a Metal Building Contractor
Other
● PEMB experience preferred, but not required
● Strong understanding of construction processes
● Able to read and interpret blueprints with ease
● Clear, professional communicator (written and verbal)
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
● Detail-oriented and organized
Salary & Benefits
Pay: $74,400.00 – $100,00.00
Competitive salary based on experience.
